I had a frustrating experience ordering from Dotti online. What the website said didn’t really line up with what ended up happening with my order, and trying to get a clear answer from customer service felt harder than it should have. I know mistakes happen, but the way a brand handles the little things says a lot. For me, this just made Dotti feel unreliable. The clothes might be cute, but I don’t feel very confident shopping there again.

"Checking out was sort of annoying..."
Checking out was sort of annoying, honestly. I was expecting a few more payment options, and the one I usually go with wasn’t there for some reason. It ended up taking longer than it probably should have. The clothes were fine and everything, but the whole payment part was just a bit frustrating.
"I like the idea of the loyalty..."
I like the idea of the loyalty points, but my recent experience wasn’t great. After I placed an order, the points didn’t show up, and it took support a really long time to get back to me. They did send me a small voucher in the end, which I appreciated, but the whole thing was still annoying.

I like shopping on dotti.com.au tbh, they usually have heaps of cute pieces and the styles are super easy to wear. There’s a good mix of basics, dresses, and going-out tops, so I usually find something I’m into. Sizing can be a bit hit or miss sometimes ngl, but overall I’ve found plenty I really like. Would defs shop there again

The item was pretty much exactly as described in the listing, which I was really happy about. The color was just a tiny bit different than I expected, but overall I’m pleased with the purchase

"Cute stuff, but the sustainability side feels lacking"
The clothes are cute and I’d say I liked about half the pieces I looked at, but the sustainability info feels vague. It still gives off a fast fashion vibe to me, and I wish they were more upfront about what they’re actually doing. Maybe they are making some effort, but it’s hard to tell from what’s shared...

I tried shopping on Dotti and I’m absolutely convinced the site was determined to test my patience. Everything felt slow and clunky, the filters weren’t very helpful, and some pages took forever to load. I wanted to keep browsing, but after a while I just got annoyed and left.

The stuff is really cute, but the fit was kinda smaller than I expected. I’d probably size up next time.

I went to grab the things I actually wanted, and of course they were sold out again. Kind of frustrating because I was really looking forward to... yeah, just disappointing.

I had to follow up with customer service twice about my order, which made me feel a bit pressured to keep chasing them just to get a clear answer. When they did reply, it was short and didn’t really sort out the issue. Overall, not the best experience.

"I bought a dress that ended…"
I bought a dress that ended up not fitting, so I sent it back the next day. The return process itself was straightforward, so I thought it would be sorted quickly. But after that, I felt a bit left in the dark because I didn’t hear anything for ages. I had to follow up about my refund, and the replies I got were fairly basic and not that reassuring. The money did come back eventually, but it took longer than I expected and was just a bit frustrating. The clothes are decent, but the returns and communication could definitely be better

"Cute tops, but not impressed with the quality"
I ordered a couple of tops they were really cute when they first arrived. But after just one wash, the fabric started feeling weird and the seams seemed kind of loose. I also reached out about it and never got any follow-up, which was frustrating. They’re not the worst pieces I’ve ever bought, but for the price I definitely expected better. I probably wouldn’t order again unless there was a really big sale

"I was expecting better for what…"
I was expecting better for what I paid. A few pieces looked really cute online, but once they arrived, the fabric felt cheap and the fit was off. Kind of feels like the photos are doing a lot more work than the actual clothes. I don’t think I’ll be ordering again.

"The order itself was totally fine..."
The order itself was totally fine, so at first I was like, okay, no big deal. But then I checked the billing and immediately thought, wait... why does this look so weird? The charges didn’t make much sense to me, and support took a while to explain what was going on. It did get sorted out, I guess, but the whole thing stressed me out more than it should have. Not the worst experience ever, but now I’m definitely a little hesitant to trust the billing side of things.

"The store felt chaotic"
The place was kind of all over the place. There were racks everywhere, the fitting rooms didn’t feel clean, and the music was way too loud. I tried to look around for a bit, but yeah, I ended up leaving quickly.

"Still Waiting on My Order"
I’m still, i’m still waiting for my order to arrive. I was hoping it would be here by now, but I haven’t received it yet...
"Using the gift card felt weirdly harder than it should"
I tried using my gift card online, and something felt off the whole time. The checkout process was confusing, and it took me way longer than I expected just to figure out how to apply it. It wasn’t a huge disaster, but it definitely made the experience more annoying than it needed to be.
"Cute packaging that made me smile"
My order from Dotti arrived looking really sweet, and it made me happy opening it. The bag was clean, everything was folded nicely, and there was no weird smell or anything squashed, which was such a relief.
I’m only giving 4 stars because the parcel felt a little thin for delivery, so I wish it had just a bit more protection. But overall, it looked neat, cute, and really lovely when I opened it.

"Wrong item showed up in my order"
I ordered a skirt and a basic top from Dotti, and while the skirt was totally fine, the top that arrived was the wrong size and colour. It was a bit disappointing because it wasn’t even a small mix-up I could just live with.
The annoying part is that my order confirmation had everything listed correctly, so I’m not really sure where it went wrong. I had to go through the return process, which just took extra time I wasn’t planning on spending.
Maybe this was just one bad online order, but it does make me think their packing or order checks might be a bit hit and miss. I’d probably still shop there in person, but I’d be hesitant to order online again.

Ugh. The stores are just nowhere near me, it’s too much of a trip to make it feel worth it.
